Court Awards $417 Million To Woman in J&J Talc Case

A California jury has ordered Johnson & Johnson to pay $417 million to a woman who claimed she developed cancer after using the company's talc products for feminine hygiene. Before this ruling, the largest verdict against the company was for $110 million.  Echeverria claimed she developed terminal ovarian cancer after using J&J's products, like its baby powder, for decades.
